As rain begins to get heavier, Korean golfer Sung Kang misses a four-foot birdie putt on the 16th green during the final round of the Quicken Loans National. The golfer arguably lost the tournament because he was unprepared for the rain, having nothing to protect him from the elements but a backwards cap.

Jeff Horn celebrates a career-changing victory after winning the WBO Welterweight Title Fight against legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao in Australia. Most fight analysts, however, smelled a home-cooked victory for the Aussie -- and even many athletes were quick to say that the match may have been fixed. Pacquiao is actually asking the WBO to look again at the title defeat.

The A's entered as heavy underdogs against the Astros -- the best team in the majors -- and promptly lost two out of three games. Perhaps that's an accomplishment in and of itself?

While Arturo Vidal was dominant on the Chilean side, the young germans, lead by Draxler, put on a show, and Russia quelled many fears by doing a solid job as host to the tournament.
