At the beginning of this season, we launched our Sports on Earth Confidence Pool, which allows you to compete against me (and Vegas and FiveThirtyEight, ESPN's smart analytics site). The winner of the pool gets to assign me to write about whatever they would like for my weekly newsletter. And I am proud to say that I am doing well. But this is less because "I am smart" and more because "I'll make sure to do my picks every week because it's my job and not every reader will have time to do that." I'll wait you out, people!

Actually, we can track how I'm doing against FiveThirtyEight and Vegas. Current scores:

FiveThirtyEight: 878 (3rd place)

Leitch: 865 (5th place)

Vegas Odds: 859 (11th place)

Check those standings out! First place is held by "adamcohen15," but, man, is it ever tight. FiveThirtyEight will always win in the end, I suspect. Anyway! It's not too late to join, if you want to join: Just go here.

For now, though: Week 13! Here goes! Vegas and FiveThirtyEight picks are after mine. Favorites are in all caps, with spreads (via Bovada, subject to change, with points indicating first team listed) and tune-in info below (all times ET).

16. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (5-6) over Cleveland Browns (0-11)
(-14) 4:05 p.m. Sunday, CBS

The Browns' big chance to win a game is coming. But not yet.

15. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (9-2) over Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
(-6) 8:30 p.m. Monday, ESPN

I've said this before, but the most amazing thing about the Steelers is that it still feels like they haven't quite played their best game yet.

14. OAKLAND RAIDERS (5-6) over New York Giants (2-9)
(-7½) 4:25 p.m. Sunday, FOX

The Raiders might wake up just in time to sneak out and win the AFC West after all.

13. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (9-2) over Buffalo Bills (6-5)
(-9) 1 p.m. Sunday, CBS
Imagine how much better we'd be feeling about the Bills in this game if they hadn't been so weird about the Tyrod Taylor stuff. (They're still being weird!)

12. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (7-4) over Indianapolis Colts (3-8)
(-9½) 1 p.m. Sunday, CBS

Pity the formerly Gabberted who are Gabberted again.

11.TENNESSEE TITANS (7-4) over Houston Texans (4-7)
(-7) 1 p.m. Sunday, CBS

The Titans are well-positioned to benefit from all the recent Gabberting.

10. LOS ANGELES RAMS (8-3) over Arizona Cardinals (5-6)
(-7) 4:25 p.m. Sunday, FOX

Blaine Gabbert has been better than anyone thought and is even giving Cardinals flashes that might make him the starter next year … but he still threw an ugly pick late in the win last week.

9. ATLANTA FALCONS (7-4) over Minnesota Vikings (9-2)
(-3) 1 p.m. Sunday, FOX

It's gonna be an awfully fun weekend at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

8. BALTIMORE RAVENS (6-5) over Detroit Lions (6-5)
(-3) 1 p.m. Sunday, FOX

The Ravens look like they're back, don't they? That was probably inevitable.

7. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (6-5) over New York Jets (4-7)
(-3½) 1 p.m. Sunday, CBS

I'm not fully ready to believe in a Chiefs collapse just yet. But I'm close.

6. Green Bay Packers (5-6) over TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (4-7)
(+1½) 1 p.m. Sunday, FOX

I'm sold on the sudden Packers feistiness.

5. CHICAGO BEARS (3-8) over San Francisco 49ers (1-10)
(-3½) 1 p.m. Sunday, CBS

Man, this week is awfully top heavy.

4. Dallas Cowboys (5-6) over WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM (5-6)
(+2) 8:25 p.m. Thursday, NBC

The Cowboys have lost three straight by at least 20.

3. Seattle Seahawks (7-4) over PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (10-1)
(+6) 8:30 p.m. Sunday, NBC

This feels like the "Seahawks stiffen up and remember they're the Seahawks" game. If the Eagles win their next two, though, they might go 15-1.

2. Carolina Panthers (8-3) over NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (8-3)
(+4½) 4:25 p.m. Sunday, FOX

Is this the official "Cam's back and ready to take over" game? Either way, the winner looks like the best challenger the Eagles have in the NFC.

1. DENVER BRONCOS (3-8) over Miami Dolphins (4-7)
(-1½) 1 p.m. Sunday, FOX

Please do not watch this game.
