At the beginning of this season, we launched our Sports on Earth Confidence Pool, which allows you to compete against me (and Vegas and Five Thirty Eight, ESPN's smart analytics site). The winner of the pool gets to assign me to write about whatever they would like for my weekly newsletter. And we are down to the very end now.

We can track how I'm doing against FiveThirtyEight and Vegas. As we enter the playoffs, current scores:

Leitch: 1547 (4th place)

FiveThirtyEight: 1525 (5th place)

Vegas Odds: 1523 (7th place)

First place is held by "blanouette," who has 1,598. Games are now worth 30 multiplied points a game. So it's tight! But we'll see.

For now, though: conference championship games! Here goes! Vegas and 538 picks are after mine. Favorites are in all caps, with spreads (via Bovada, subject to change, with points indicating ALLCAPS) and tune-in info below (all times ET).

2. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (14-3) over Jacksonville Jaguars (12-6)
(-7 1/2) 3:05 p.m. Sunday, CBS

You can squint and see how Jacksonville might win here; that defense is no joke. But come on, you're not picking Blake Bortles over Tom Brady, why would you?

1. Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) over MINNESOTA VIKINGS (14-3)
(+3) 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Fox

Think of last week as the Vikings' Georgia Rose Bowl win over Oklahoma, and this week as the crushing loss to Alabama. You'll always have last week.
